Ah, such a sad and disturbing week it has been. When are we going to do something about the gun violence that has wreaked havoc on our country? My heart is heavy for those families who lost their loved ones because of these senseless acts.
But today is Friday, this week is at an end and we are hopeful that next week will be a better one.
So, it's time for my favorite things of the week...
When the Plattsburgh Air Force Base was open the Air Force always put Santa on the plane in front of the base for the month of December. The base has been closed for twenty years now and I love that they still put Santa on a plane during December.
I love living where there are Christmas tree farms. We get to tromp through the woods, find the perfect tree and cut it down ourselves... just like we did when we were kids.
Turkeys!! We are seeing them all over this year. These were in my father's backyard,
but we have seen them along the Interstate, on the side of back roads and in backyards.
McDonald's! It's my favorite fast food joint!
Many hands that make light work...
