And on Thursday night, the 25-year-old singer showed she's been ramping up the glamour in anticipation, as she stepped out in New York City in a decidedly short red camisole dress.
The plunging number gave the Hot Right Now hitmaker to display her shapely legs as she strode the bustling streets of Manhattan with her pal, actor Cully Smoller.
She wore her platinum blonde tresses in a straightened style, which fell midway down her back with a centre-parting, while her lips were given a dab of pillarbox red lipstick.
Carrying a metallic pink jacket, the star added extra length to her smooth pins with an eye-catching pair of black zip-up booties, which boasted embellished heels.
Rita added an extra touch of pizzazz to her ensemble with a collection of gold rings and bangles, while a jewelled choker adorned her neck.
She came to an agreement after the company sued her for $2.4million for breaching the terms of her contract and not providing the required number of albums throughout her time with them.
A document filed to the New York Supreme Court showed the pair have settled matters out of court and Rita is free to choose a new label and release new music.
A source told The Sun at the time: 'Rita is overjoyed she can finally start discussions with other labels, which have been waiting on this case to be resolved.
