Aqua by Aqua new items - swoon!

I've featured the work of Aqua here for some time now, having discovered the brand in January. I think this is somewhere in the region of my fifth or sixth blog post on them! They have had a recent website redesign which makes it now even easier to buy their wonderful pieces. (much to my bank managers horror) Their work is a breath of fresh air in a high street where everything looks the same. Facing into a graduation where I have to find a pretty dress, it can be horrific trying to find something that no one else has! So I intend to invest in Aqua ahead of the ceremony!
Not quite sure what to get yet - but I am loving this leather dress which echoes the swing style of a certain Victoria Beckham piece I loved from the A/W show last week. It's just incredibly flattering and at 6 ft tall - I have the height hopefully to work it!
Their pieces seem to have gotten a little more grown up for A/W, their S/S collection was playful and vibrant. (it also had the most amazing platform shoes) A/W seems to be a more mature and classic collection - these are not one off pieces, but rather pieces you can wear over and over again.
I have got to say that this is one of the best galaxy- style prints available to buy outside of Christopher Kane. It also comes in a top version which they have styled with the white jeans below. Fantastic! All of their clothes nod to a particular trend, then re interpret it in an edgy and quirky way. As I mentioned before - perfect if your sick of seeing the same stuff cropping up in Topshop and River Island all the time.
The other thing Aqua do incredibly well -is pricing their items. None of the items pictured go over the £200 mark. In fact, their dresses and catsuits range from £70 (€80) to £99 (€112) which means you have a bit of spare cash to buy a killer pair of shoes to accompany that dress!
I am in love with the jeans above. I would prefer them in black as most of my wardrobe is black. But I am obsessed with them. I would wear with a floaty black cape, black vest, black suede wedges and my fantastic dark purple lipstick - goth-tastic. But then, when am I not head to toe in black?
They do have stores - although sadly none of them are located in Ireland. Two in London and one in Leeds. You can shop on the website though - all is not lost! Hopefully we can look forward to the opening of a concession or store in Dublin sometime soon prehaps? aquabyaqua.com
It was also great to see Aqua popping up in the Sunday Times last week as well.
